The Document Viewer Refiner Widget can be used to further refine results on the document grid found on a Document Library page. The refiners displayed out of the box are:
- Author
- Category (only if there are meta data tags associated with the documents)
- File Type
- Last Modified
Sometimes you may want to hide a specific refiner. In this example, we will hide the refiner "Author".
Steps
- Click on the Akumina tray widget, select the Gear then select the Gear for the DocumentViewerWidget (Document Listing Grid).
- On the "Widget Manager" modal, click on "Properties"
- On the "refiner" input field, simple remove the reference for the Author, this item: {"title":"Author","id":"DisplayAuthor"},
- Then click on "UPDATE & EXIT"
- The Refiners for Author will no longer appear:
